Hanoi
Hanoi is very famous as the city of four distinct seasons. The climate also can be divided to be rainy season (from May to September) and dry season (from October to April). About 80% of the rainfall is in the rainy season. The annual temperature in Hanoi is 23.2ºC, but the average temperature in the winter is 17.2ºC but the lowest temperature ever recorded was 2.7 ºC in 1955. The average summer temperature is 29.2 ºC, with the highest ever recorded being 42.8 ºC in 1926. On average, there are 114 rainy days a year with around 1,800mm of rainfall.

Haiphong
This coastal city in the East of Hanoi is influenced by a tropical monsoon climate too. There are 4 seasons and the annual average temperature is between 23oC and 24oC but it is more moderate thanks to the sea. The annual rainfall is between 1,600 and 1,800mm.
Quang Ninh
The climate system in Quang Ninh is quite similar to Hai Phong, that featuring all four seasons. In summer (from May to September), it's hot, humid and rainy, while monsoons flourish. In winter (from October to April), it's cold, dry, and sees little rainfall. The average temperature is over 25oC. Annual rainfall totals between 1,700 and 2,400mm.
Hue
Hue
Hue is the last city further to the South of Vietnam with the sub-tropical climate. Then all the cold wind has been stopped by the high mountain of Hai Van. There are also four seasons in this city and the temperature in the winter time can be as cold as Hanoi and the summer time even hotter than the neighbor town of Da Nang. Average temperature is 25oC. The peak season for traveler coming to Hue is from October to April.

Danang
This is the first city in the central of Vietnam belong to the typical tropical climate system. Compare to Hue, the weather in Danang is much more moderate and better for travelers with the nice influence from the sea. Danang has two distinct rainy and dry seasons. The average annual temperature is between 28oC and 29oC. Most of the year, the typhoons come to Danang in September and October and cause allots of rain.
Nha Trang

This is the city have the best see and climate in Vietnam with is oceanic tropical monsoon weather and very moderate. The temperature is pleasant in most of the time in the year. Average annual temperature is 26.5oC with annual rainfall totals over 1,200mm.
Da Lat

Famous as the old French Hill Station in the South of Vietnam, this highland town has very pleasant temperate climate, that made Da Lat to be one of the most popular tourist spot in the South of Vietnam, together with Nha Trang. The temperature here is cool with an average annual temperature of 18oC with lots of mist, with beautiful pine forest and many species of flowers that made the city here so romantic as the honeymoon destination.
Saigon
Hanoi people joke that there is only three seasons in Saigon: Hot, hotter and hottest. But in fact, the climate in this city is divided into two seasons: the rainy season from May to September and dry season in the other half of the year. The weather in Saigon is quite similar as Bangkok, and the summer time here even more comfortable than in Hanoi with lower temperature and less humid. The average annual temperature is 27.5oC without winter, and annual rainfall can reach to 1,979mm.Tourist can come to Saigon year round.
